About
Gabrielle Gaplevski is an Estonian artist working primarily in pastel and mixed media. Her practice centers on capturing fleeting moments, light, and the subtle drama of everyday life. She draws inspiration from the streets of Tallinn, Paris, Lisbon, and the small towns she visits across Europe, as well as the Baltic landscape and the people around her. Influences from artists such as Degas, Matisse, Rothko, and Bonnard are evident in her work.
Although born in Estonia, Gabrielle continues to search for a sense of home, if it ever truly existed. The music of Arvo Pärt, with its quiet resonance, is a constant companion in her creative process.
Her works have been exhibited throughout Estonia and are held in private collections across Europe. For exhibition invitations, commissions, or collaborations, please use the contact page.
